katie hawkes rancho santa fe smoothiesLiving here in Rancho Santa Fe, it’s easy to see that many San Diego residents are passionate about their health and fitness.   One of the most important elements of health is food – and your most important meal is breakfast!  So here’s a rainbow of ideas to start your day right.  Whether or not you’re a smoothie enthusiast, sometimes a smoothie is just the only thing that sounds good.  As long as you keep it low in sugar, high in protein and packed with fiber & nutrients from fresh fruit and vegetables, a smoothie is an excellent breakfast that will keep you full for hours! (Each recipe makes 2-3 smoothies; share with friends & family!)
