FREE Outdoors Event in Escondido

free outdoor event escondidoLooking to get some fresh air after all the rain recently?  Consider attending this special outdoors event tomorrow, November 23rd, 2013: this Saturday, a volunteer trail guide for the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve will lead an archaeology walk along Escondido Creek.  From 11am to 1pm, this gentle walk will explore the ancient past and archaeological treasures right in our own backyard!  Donna Walker, the guide, will lead the walk and share her knowledge of local Native American history.

Meet at the Beech Street cul de sac at 11am, behind the Fresh and Easy Market next to the creek walk in downtown Escondido.  The event will last until 1pm.  The walk is free, but donations can be made to the Escondido Creek Conservancy if desired!  For more information, email information@escondidocreek.org, and to pre-register for the event, call (760) 471- 9354.

Have fun, and learn something new!
